I was selected to show a runway presentation of my AW23 collection, Fashion Baby, at the first ever AI Fashion Week. AI Fashion Week is a curated pret-a-porter design competition. The first edition presented ai-generated fashion collections online and in person at Spring Studios in New York in April 2023. AI Fashion Week was sponsored by Revolve and Maison Meta and the presentations were judged by a jury of top fashion industry professionals.
About Fashion Baby
If 1997 and 2023 had a fashion baby, this would be it. It’s a little bit Clueless, a little bit grunge, and a little bit of that 2023 urge to wear our pajamas in public. Fashion baby doesn’t care what season it is. She’ll wear a pastel pink gown to your holiday party and a faux fur crop in the spring.
The outdoor presentation of this modern spin on the spirit of the ‘90s and early aughts takes place in a pastel-walled fantasy city. The runways wind between pink and green buildings and the “front row” spans multiple city blocks.
Fashion Baby would be ethically produced using exclusively sustainable and vegan materials like organic cotton, cupro, viscose, and bamboo. The faux furs will be made from recycled polyester. No people or animals would be harmed in the production of this collection.
